The oldest vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula was planted in 1972 on the property of Baillieu (Bails) & Sarah Myer & family.
The 4.5 hectare vineyard covers the north facing slope of this natural amphitheatre. The magnificent view of Melbourne skyline across Port Phillip Bay is depicted on our wine label.
The people of Elgee Park family & friends, the viticulturalists & winemakers, vineyard workers, the whole team, have made it a wonderful & productive place.

Shaped by a life alongside the sea, our roots on the Mornington peninsula keep us grounded in a sense of community and passionate about local produce and vitality.
Our story began years ago - on a quiet coastal road not far from where we are now - with nothing but a desire to create quality beer, a taste for adventure and a healthy appreciation of the good life.
we're not really ones for rules but we do have a few guiding principles that were born out of respect for our craft and our community:
For one, our aim is to create an educational environment that takes people inside the craft beer experience and makes the enjoyment of a fine ale accessible to all.
Then of course there is our love for local harvest, fresh produce and bringing the community together in celebration of the good life.
Lastly, we're very serious about not taking ourselves too seriously - enjoy yourself and drink great tasting high-quality beer. simple.
Our deep love for, and support of, the arts is an integral part of life at Montalto. From our ever-expanding, breathtaking 1km Sculpture Trail (featuring 30+ sculptures) to our annual Sculpture Prize, through to our Artistic Director Neil Williams' hand drawn illustrations on our menus and our new lunch series Contemplating Art (in partnership with the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery). We believe that the arts has an invaluable part to play in any well-functioning society.
We are thrilled to support the return of Art Red Hill this year - an organisation and event that shares our passion for supporting art and artists across the Mornington Peninsula.
Vision led San Pietro to establish his vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula and in the hills south of Benalla in Central Victoria.
With time young vines grew and matured.
A small unused winery was rebuilt, and San Pietro was finally free to pursue his craft of fashioning delicate and original wines.
